General information

Everybody is invited to add and edit content to Freetopo.org. There are only a few points to be noticed when uploading content:

Respect copyright!!! Please, respect the work of others. DO NOT upload content that is under any kind of copyright. Do not upload content that you do not want to be printed, copied or used in any other form by anybody else. All information on this side is FREE FOR ANYBODY.
Be aware, that everybody can edit your uploaded content. Do not upload content that you do not want to be edited by somebody else.
Quality: Please do only upload relevant content in good quality. Edit existing content only if you are shure that the resulting content is superior after editing.
Do not spend too much time in front of your computer. Go climbing!!!

HOWTO...

Get a login

Click on Login->Add user and fill out the form.

Add a new item

First, find out if the item already exists.

If not, find the best structure for the item. Freetopo is build in a Country->Area->Rock->Sector->Route Structure. But for boulder areas, a Country->Area->Sector->Rock->Route structure may be more appropriate! You are free to choose the structure you like...

You can add an item to every existing item in the tree by clicking on the add item symbol (only visible when you are logged in).

Edit an existing item

Go to the item you want to edit and click on the edit item symbol (only visible when you are logged in).

You can add some very basic wiki-code to your item. (Not yet documented, so please check out the wiki-code in already existing items... Sorry.)

Add an image

Click on the add image symbol (only visible when you are logged in).
